Shipping and lead times

Due to the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic, orders may take longer than usual to reach you. We have no control over whether this occurs, so please monitor the tracking number provided. Shipments to international destinations may be more expensive and take longer than usual, so please keep this in mind when placing an order.

Lead times

All products within the Core Collection as listed on the website shop are made to order and we do not carry any stock. Due to a high volume of orders, at the moment Core Collection orders are being taken for January 2022. The general lead time for those items is approximately two – four weeks from the point of purchase, but there may be some occasions where there are delays. These could be due to problems with production, material availability or high volumes of orders. Where this is the case, will aim to inform you of any possible delay at our earliest opportunity.

Items part of a Capsule Collection (when available) are in stock are will be sent out at the earliest availability.

When ceramics are purchased as a bespoke order or commission, lead times will be discussed as part of the design and ordering process.

Shipping

Shipping ceramics safely is an expensive task. As such, we have absorbed some of the cost, and we will always try and find you the most cost-effective option for your order. This sometimes means that we will split your order into multiple packages. If we use a shipping option that costs less than what you’ve paid for, we will refund the difference.

Blank Earth offers worldwide shipping, however, sometimes we have to calculate this on a case-by-case basis. If your country does not appear as an option at checkout, please contact hello@blankearth.co.uk for a quote.

Domestic shipping to the United Kingdom will usually take around 2 business days from the time of dispatch, depending on the circumstances. International shipments may take around 3 – 5 business days, or longer.

We always aim to ship your purchased items as quickly as possible, but due to the high volume of orders placed at once, this may take up to a week. Please be patient as there are only 1.5 of us working to get everything out to you.

When an item is posted internationally, it is under the receiving country’s jurisdiction, which includes all postal service and customs charges. If something goes missing or is delayed, please contact both Blank Earth and the shipping company. All lost or damaged items will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

Please keep in mind that there may be customs charges if you are making an international order, which you will have to pay on pickup or delivery of your parcel.
